Something so gorgeous and yet perceived common. As a child, I was in awe of both their beautiful presence and punctuality as the Monarch Butterfly migrating from the U.S. and Canada feeding on the title plants along the way to Angangueyo. Mexico. Amazingly, they all congregate at the top of the same mountain each year with phenomenal punctuality around the first of November. Join The Holy Father In The Solemn Consecration Of Russia And Ukraine To The Immaculate Heart Of Mary
Archbishop Jose Gomez has given suggestions of what each parish can do to participate in the solemn consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. On Friday, March 25, 2022, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church will have the Mass for the Solemnity of the Annunciation at 8:15 am, the church bells will be rung at 9:00 am and the Mass will include the Prayer of Consecration. The Holy Father is encouraging parishioners to gather at their local parish to pray together for peace in Ukraine and Russia and to pray for all humanity. Monsignor Jim Gehl
Msgr. Jim Gehl was ordained a priest on May 25, 1974, for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. He served as Associate Pastor at St. Elizabeth in Altadena, St. Michael’s in Los Angeles, and St. Mary’s in Los Angeles before becoming Associate Director of the Office of Religious Education. He became Director of the Office of Family Life and came to live in residence at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. At Our Lady of Perpetual, he received the assignment as Administrator Pro Tem to serve our parish. He was assigned Administrator Pro Tem at St. Sabastian’s in Los Angeles before becoming Pastor at Sr. Joseph the Worker in Winnetka, followed by…
