The season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Liturgies for Ash Wednesday are: Stations of the Cross/ Via Crucis Join the OLPH parish community in praying the traditional Stations of the Cross on the Fridays of Lents. OLPH Church: 12:15 pm in English and 7:30 pm Bilingual Lenten Talk Theme: Eucharist, Communion, Sacrifice, Presence Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 7:00 pm in the Church Guest Speaker: Reverend Parker Sandoval, Vice Chancellor and Senior Director at Ministerial Service for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

2022-2023 8th Grade Student Scholarship Application
The Catholic Women’s Guild of Our Lady of Perpetual Help annually awards five (5) eighth-grade students a one-time grant scholarship in the amount of $1,250 to students who wish to continue their education at a Catholic High School. The student applicant must currently live in the city of Downey, or enrolled in a Public, Private, or Catholic School in the city of Downey, or is an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Applicants for the scholarship must have an acceptance letter to a Catholic high school as part of their portfolio. The deadline to submit your application is April 28, 2023.
