Hawaiian Sunset Fundraiser
Secure your place at the Luau for the Catholic Women’s Guild “Hawaiian Sunset Summer Dinner Fundraiser”! This event is open to all Women’s Guild members and their family & personal friends! Event reservations and payments are due no later than August 4, 2023. A check can be made to “Catholic Women’s Guild” and placed in an envelope addressed to Linda Malme (see Guild address book) or it may be turned in at the rectory office to place in the Women’s Guild mail folder. Space will fill up quickly! Do not delay!!!

Mardi Gras Tea Honoring Past Presidents The Women’s Guild of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church is hosting their Annual Tea on April 12, 2023, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. The theme for this year’s event is Mardi Gras. It will be a joyous occasion as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord. Thank you and blessings to you.

March 2023 General Meeting
The OLPH Woman’s Guild March General Meeting is on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 10:00 am at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 1131 Rives Ave. Downey, Ca 90241. The theme is “Irish Charm” and it will feature a dance group from The Aniar Academy Irish Dancers”. The menu is corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, and a green salad. It will also include soda bread, Irish Chocolate Trifles, and Irish Coffee. Raffle: At the event we will sell tickets to raffle off a Waterford Candy Dish! 35TH Annual Christmas Luncheon 12/4/2022

It’s the season of spreading joy and good cheer. Feel free to put on your fanciest cowboy boots, buffalo plaid shirt or favorite cowboy hat, and get ready for this year’s Warm Country Christmas. October 2022 General Meeting
On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, the Women’s Guild will be hosting their October General Meeting with the theme of “El Dia de Los Muertos”. The meeting will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 11231 Rives Avenue, in Downey, 90241. Please mark your calendar and join us for a delicious Mexican luncheon including Pan de Los Muertos and beverages. The cost is $15 which covers the meal served.
